Yoshiyasu “Yoshi” Tanaami has worked for Mitsui & Co., since 2002. In October 2020, he took on the role of Chief Service Officer dedicated to leading the strategic initiatives of the company with special focus on the corporate functions including Advertising, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Operations departments.
Yoshi graduated from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, with a Bachelor of Industrial Management Systems and Engineering, first sparking his passion for Operations and the Kaizen theory of improvement. After completing his degree, Yoshi began working at Mitsui & Co. where he gained an extensive background in various industries including fashion, healthcare retail, transportation, healthcare, and staffing. He ultimately built a strong affinity for the healthcare service industry, leading him to his current role at The Delta Companies.
In 2014, he earned his Master of Business Administration at the IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Yoshi later joined the Department of Healthcare Division of Mitsui & Co., where he served on the Board of Directors for Columbia Asia, a Malaysian-based multinational chain of hospitals. During his tenure, the company had achieved remarkable growth.
Yoshi has a keen passion and aptitude for the development of people and teams. He has successfully proven his ability to recognize, encourage, and enhance the expertise and proficiencies of his employees and business partners. He truly appreciates the value of individual contributions and how they can strengthen an entire team.
Yoshi moved to Dallas, Texas, from Tokyo, Japan, in 2020. He is a husband and father of two young children and is looking forward to enjoying Texas life with his family. In his spare time, he enjoys watching football games, playing golf, and cooking.
